Welcome to GoGo Signage, the professional digital signage solution designed to turn any smart TV, monitor, or tablet into a high-impact display. Built on our serverless architecture, GoGo Signage allows you to manage unlimited displays across the globe without a single monthly subscription fee.
The 3-Panel Admin Dashboard
The GoGo Signage Admin Panel is designed for speed and clarity. When you log in, the interface is divided into three distinct functional columns:
- The Screen Selection Panel (Left): This is your command center for hardware. View all active screens, add new displays to your network, and select which specific screen you are currently editing.
- The Media Panel (Center): Your content library. This is where you upload media, curate your custom image library, and assign which assets are available to be broadcast.
- The Output Source Panel (Right): The "Remote Control." Once a screen is selected, use this panel to instantly change what that screen is displaying, adjust timings, and configure screen orientation.
Available Media Sources
GoGo Signage supports a wide range of content sources to keep your displays dynamic:
The Power of Global Auto Folders
Global Auto Folders (1 & 2) are our most advanced feature. These are special folders tied directly to your Google Drive. Any image you drop into these specific Drive folders will automatically sync to your signage screens within seconds. You can update your menus or advertisements from your phone without ever opening the Signage Admin Panel.
Configuring Media & Playlists
Custom Playlists
To build a rotation, navigate to the Media Panel. Click the + icon on any image in your library to add it to the active playlist. To remove an item, click the - icon in the playlist queue.
Static Images
If you want a screen to display a single, permanent image (like a safety notice), click the star icon on any image in your library. Note: Only one static image can be assigned per screen at a time.
Timing & Transitions
In the Output Source Panel, you can fine-tune the "vibe" of your display:
- Slide Timing: Available for Custom Playlists, Google Slides, and Auto Folders.
- Transition Styles: Choose between an Instant Cut, Dissolve, Fade-to-Black, or the cinematic Ken Burns effect (available for Playlists and Auto Folders).
Deployment & Hardware
Because your digital signage is URL-based, it works on any modern web browser. However, for a professional "always-on" experience, we recommend using the Amazon Fire Stick.
Using the Fire Stick APK (Recommended)
Your purchase includes a custom Android APK specifically designed for GoGo Signage. It is optimized to boot automatically when the TV turns on and to hide browser-specific UI elements.
- Install the GoGo Signage APK on your Fire Stick (instructions provided in your purchase email).
- In the Admin Panel's Output Source section, click GET TV CODE.
- You will receive a TinyURL link. Enter this link into the TV APK app and submit.
- The menu will disappear and your signage will begin.
To access the menu or change the URL later, press UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN on your Fire Stick remote control.
The Scheduler
GoGo Signage includes a built-in scheduler for hands-off management. You can create one-time or recurring events that automatically trigger a screen to switch from one source to another (e.g., switching from a "Breakfast Menu" to a "Lunch Menu" at 11:00 AM every day).
Security & Settings
Upon your first startup, you will be prompted to create an Admin Password. In the Settings Menu, you can:
- Disable the login password (requires current password).
- Change the Scheduler Timezone.
- Perform a Factory Reset on the application (requires current password).
FAQ & Troubleshooting
I changed the source, why didn't my screen change immediately?
This is tied directly to your screen's slide duration setting. GoGo Signage uses a "pull" architecture to save server resources. If your duration is set to 30 seconds, your TV will fetch updates from the database every 30 seconds. Therefore, when you make a change in the Admin Panel, it may take up to 30 seconds for the screen to perform its next fetch and load the new content.
Can I import videos?
The system does not play back raw video files natively, but you can use the YouTube/Playlist source. Simply upload your video to YouTube (public or unlisted) and paste the link into the panel.
How many screens can I have?
Technically, unlimited. However, Google Apps Script has a daily "URL Fetch" quota. Each screen pings the backend periodically for updates. A standard free Google account can comfortably handle roughly 10-15 screens refreshing every minute before hitting limits.
The exact number of screens you can support depends heavily on your slide duration settings. Increasing the duration (e.g., 60 seconds) means your screens ping the server less often, significantly reducing fetch usage and allowing you to run more screens simultaneously. Conversely, decreasing the duration (e.g., 10 seconds) will increase fetch usage and reduce the total number of screens your account can support.
There is a "Google Apps Script" banner on my screen.
Google adds this to all web apps. You can click the X to remove it. For a permanent solution, use our Fire Stick APK, which is designed to hide this banner automatically at startup.
Will my TV stay on?
We recommend turning off all power-saving/sleep modes on your TV settings. Additionally, set your TV to "Display Last Source" on power-up. Since the APK is designed to boot on startup, your signage will resume automatically after a power outage.
